Multiple OS in VPS Servers
In case you pick one of our VPS server solutions, you will have three different Operating Systems to choose from - CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu. They're all Linux releases and we offer them rather than offering just one OS, because the apps that you may want to run on the server may have specific requirements about the software environment. Each one of the three has certain advantages with regard to the available packages that you could later install, but what is common between them is that they're very stable and dependable and have vast communities which support them. The internet hosting Control Panel alternatives for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, in order to provide you with more flexibility. If you order the virtual server with one OS and you need a different one later, our technical support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in a couple of minutes. We also offer you the option to keep the Operating System on your server up-to-date on a weekly basis.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are free so they won't increase the price of your new web server, but also because they are very secure and stable. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and since we want to give you as much versatility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you choose a server with a certain OS, we will change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you need a different one. We will also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as part of the useful Managed Services upgrade.
